HOUSTON, Texas (November 15, 2022) – AIS, a Texas-based FinTech and leading provider of back-office automation, quality talent and standardized analytics, today announced the hiring of Tom Clark as Managing Director, Commercial Banking.

Clark brings more than 25 years of banking expertise to AIS, eight of which were most recently spent as Chief Information Officer at Cadence Bank. During that time, he led the information technology, information security and bank operations functions, deploying business automation and cloud migration programs to support business scalability. Over a four-year period, Clark developed and implemented a business application and technical infrastructure refresh strategy to support more than 100% business growth, both organic and by merger, and transition the bank from a private to publicly traded company.
Prior to his tenure at Cadence, he served ten years as an executive at USAA guiding information security, privacy, digital banking, large scale process automation and bank transformation initiatives and previously led early digital banking technology initiatives for Bank of America Consumer Bank.
